- I made my co-workers, mom, mother-in-law and the kids' bio-mom some hand-restoring sugar scrub! It was fun and easy to make. Learn how to make this 2 ingredient sugar scrub by reading my tutorial.
- I took some red leggings Rhiannon has and turned them into heart-leggings! I sewed on some heart appliques I already had but you can make these yourself using any kind of material including felt!
Ebin came home from school on Friday with an unsigned crush-gram from school. UNSIGNED. That's right - Ebin has a secret admirer and he is beside himself trying to figure out who it is. 7th Grade is just so much fun!
We started a new tradition this year that I absolutely LOVED! We each wrote letters to each other explaining why we love one another. Totally worth it to see our kids light up and see them grinning from ear to ear. I think it is so important for kids to see in writing how much their parents love them and to get letters of encouragement from time to time. If you haven't done this with your own kids yet, I suggest doing it. It brings you together more than you think it would and doesn't really take much effort.
I just put up bags with everyone's name on it and each member of the family wrote their own letters then got to "deliver" them into the corresponding bags.
When we were finished with the mushy stuff we melted some white chocolate and dipped pretzels and pink wafers! We still have a bunch of them saved for when everyone is feeling better - that will be nice for some sweet treats!
