We had a really fun Family Birthday Party for Ebin last weekend. Chris' parents and brother came to stay with us and my parents were there too. We went out to Red Zone for dinner on Ebin's orders and had a really nice time (despite the waitress out-right forgetting my brother-in-law's drink! haha)
We ended up having a bit of a wait on our food because of our big party and the kids wanted to play some of the video games by our table. Their Uncle Josh slipped them a few dollars after Chris gave them each one so they got to play until dinner arrived!
Chris' parents got him a remote control tank and some hero factories! Uncle Josh gave Ebin a remote control helicopter that drops bombs and my parents got him a hot wheel track! We had a German Chocolate cake (that Ebin made all by himself!) and ice cream to top off the night!
Today is his actual birthday but really the only fun stuff he had to do was go to school, soccer practice, then home for a massive bowl of ramen noodles (his favorite food - the rest of us had something else!) and video games.
It is always fun having their parties and we all had fun celebrating the birth of Ebin Huhnke!
